History-

The Nova Avon-Class, designed mostly by Centaurans, Arcadians, Deltans and Deians, with a few Benzites and K'Tarians, is an ambitious Exploratory Cruiser, based loosely on one of the Nova-Class Starship Theoretical Designs, and then revised with early 4th Generation X-Technology. They are produced at Antares Fleet Yards, New Abderdeen and Aldebaran at a combined rate of 3 per year, and often sent out very far into deep space on exploration missions of around 13-16 years.
