History-

The East African Mountains-Class ships are named for Mountains in East Africa, as well as Beyer-Garratt Locomotives also named for them, and they were built at Utopia Planitia, 40 Eridani A, Chiokis and Morena at a combined rate of 4-6 per year in not Eta, but the Endless General War, Silakkan Influence, and RingRTN Universes, using a Phaser Lance and Dual Forward and Aft Torpedo Launchers with interchangable magazines, using advanced, 4th-Generation X-Technology High-Yield Torpedoes, and 8 Type XII Phaser Arrays. It's LF-44 Warp Drive System is somewhat faster than the norm for the Era, but not terribly efficient, and easily outpaced by some newer models, and it's Computer Core is the longproven I-6 Isolinear Computer used on the Galaxy-Class. They very easily defended entire secters and explored frontier regions by themselves, and sometimes led groups of varying size. They also did somewhat better against the Borg, Taurhai, True Ones, and Old Kings.

Ed Note: Yeah, the Registries are low; - like Cheezy, kitbash 90s' Fanships posted o USENET as ASCII art, or on some Geocities/Tripod/Angelfire/Hypermart Website in 1995. So's the Prometheus from most other universes; - probably due mostly to the Registries reserved in advanced for ASDB special projects for decades in advance.
