History-

The Protoceratops-Class takes the standard, longer-leaner wedgeship Gorn Hullform and then adds some strange sections, although somewhat more conservative, older gorn do not want to part from any Gorn Hullforms. It has a pair of plated sides hanging, and multiple Torpedo Launchers sticking out the front, like horns. The prototype was left without warp and major hull damage and one Blaster permanently Destroyed, three Grey Scale Gorn Weapons Officers, Ghlodron, Kokamarrin, and Storin, killed in tests in November 12th, 2281. A year later, the Prototype and one other ship were both completed and ambushed a Hassan Jushider-Class Heavy Frigate, the Kexasali, in a thick asteroid belt, killing all, in January 21st, 2283, and Production started on February 23rd, 2283, the two ships replacing a damaged BH-2 and squadron of (SFB) BCs and SX-3 S'Sechs elsewhere, taking on Hassans, and butchering or driving away forty-five smaller Galaxy Voyagers ships, mostly Omnicon and Radium, they did well, but not on a larger, (Strategic operations) scale, and the six ships fought, two destroyed in March, 2284, one scrapped in April 6th, 2284 after a disastrous attack with the Romulan V-30 Winged Defender, two continually fought with 9 MD-8s, destroying a Hassan Battleship, 9 older Hexadas CAs, four destroyers (3 of 1 class, 1 of another), 36 Gunboats, 3 Corvettes, 3 Scouts, and 7 Kelinaoririn-Class ships, both protecting the Tristar, and some larger damaged ships undergoing major repair at stations, going into ceremonial/museum status in October 14th, 2306, the last one going missing on November 29th, 2289, to be discovered by the Excelsior-Class USS Galacta & the Philadelphia Beacon-Class USS Alexandricas in August 23rd, 2311, it being badly damaged after attack by an Andromedan Devastator-Class Battleship, or a CA-BB size 1X ship, it's crew either killed by experimentaiton or beaming into space, and the ship itself, even with Gorn, needed Environmental Suited Personnel to take it back, for observation and placement in some Science;History Museum under "strange losses/possible dangerous aliens".
