History-

The Armbaxter-Class was named after the main quarry/Rhodium workds that made up Bath Rhodium Works, one of the Shipyard of Sol III, as well as a nomadic Builder of 21st Century Earth who did much good, and was the basis for many epic tales and ballads. They were launched alongside the USS Constellation (NX-1974) in trials in 2285-2289, with the Armbaxters being finished and put into production somewhat earlier. They helped stabilize the Frontier in the last 3 years of the General War, patrolled near Khitomer, Archanis IV, Caleb IV, and Sherman's Planet, and fought the ISC, Andromedans & Xorkaelians in 2295-2335, the Class finally being retired in the 2350s.

The Armbaxter-Class was produced at Bath Rhodium Works and San Francisco Fleet Yards at a combined rate of 4-6 per year.
