History:

The Wachusett's named after an 1861 Schooner, and was designed at Ptzue Colony for use as a Fast Attack Ship, with soem Frigate Roles, although it's role is more suited to deploying small Prime Teams to a target, rather than delivering several hundred troops. It's designed for Maneuverability, and uses two Pulse Phaser Cannons, in addition to the typical Dorsal & Ventral Saucer Phaser Arrays, as well as a single forward Torpedo Launcher. They were produced at a rate of 2-4 per year from Ptzue Colony, and found success well into the 25th Century, finally retired in the 2480s.
