William Jackson Palmer Class XXI Diplomatic Cruiser

History-

The William Jackson Palmer-Class was designed in 2475 as a large, luxurious ship to look benevolent, and inspire trust in vengeful, sarcastic Allied Worlds officials and other, more nervous, non-aligned aliens, and the Ferengi, who violently refused to be anything oother than trading partners with 3x4x3 stipulations with the Coalition, knowing they could get perfectionistic/into a war at any moment.

Despite the pacifists/explorers criticising the concept, the William Jackson Palmer had to be revised with stealth technologies, and doubled weaponry as a safety measure against the Yoru'Arudain, the ships being built at Harrull Hullworks and Argelius at a combined rate of 4 per year, and often given unknowable, somewhat chaotic arrays of random missions, being sent to random systems, and to do diplomatic missions and explore dull, out-of-the-way star systems to the southwest, near Miradorn, Chalnoth and Bolaar space, each ship having an operational lifespan of 155-170 years, with the USS A'thil Surandon and USS Ibrahim SIms being retired in March 18th, 2711, and November 3rd, 2724.
