History- After learning of the presence of the Dominion, and they're potential threat; - the Talarian Bureau of Engineers worked on a new tech level; hullform; and aggressive tactics for a new cruiser class, dubbed the 'Marile' Class, named after the Golden Peak of Talaria, with a vague "H" shape, and the Class, although never seeing combat against the Dominion, did well in smaller Alpha Quadrant Disputes for 65 years.

History-

This was the Talarians' attempt (somewhat decent) at having a major troop/firepower ship, like the L-9 of the Klingons'and the Federation's Chandley, Acropolis, and over thirty other designs.

    The forest two were fielded and successfully destroyed two Klingon Border stations and a small Tellarite Freighter in October, 2332. The next four were completed the next year, and all six were the major troopcarriers in 15-24 ship Talarian Fleets, which caused Starfleet & Klingon Intelligence much worrying, and numerous fleet battles, causing the destruction of 13 Starfleet ships, 19 Klingon ships, 5 Cardassian ships, 6 Lyran ships, 5 Kzinti ships, 19 Bolaar ships and 2 Corporate Aggressors Fleet ships, and 4 of the Assault Frigates and 40 Talarian Ships were destroyed. SOon, some maiming of Talarians and treaties and back-and-forth intimidation caused the strikes to go down in 2341 (although they'd flare up in 2355, then after destruction of 17 Talarian Ships and two Starfleer Light Cruisers in 2361, a tense agreement would be reached), the Frigates haring well as Pirate and minor ambush ships, with 6-8 still in service in the 2360s; - 1 captured by the Cardassians in 2366, 1 destroyed by an uncaring trio of Jem'Hadar Fighters!@%(& in 2373, and the others were put on training and (lame) patrol duty in 2376, and scrapped in 2383-2386.
