History: The Type D Starbird, or "T'syvan-Class", named for a venomous, ravenlike bird with yellow stripes on either side of their head found on Remus, was a larger, exploratory ship, meant to be alone for 6 years at a time on long exploratory voyages far from home, although with conservation of supplies, foraging/scavenging/trading, this can sometimes be extended to 8 years. They were built at Miranoi Rihannsu at a rate of 2 per year, with a total of 16 built, the last in service until 2416.
